Lost at Sea- a website listing ships and other vessels lost in WW2
There are a number of websites which list ships and other vessels lost at sea due to the activities of war. The Danedan was a fishing trawler which was sunk in December 1939 off Shetland by enemy fire. Helen Sheed’s father died on this ship. Her memory on this website contains a number of links to websites related to shipping losses due to war.
