Screenshots of the Editing Process

Here are a series of screenshots from Windows Movie Maker. Although it looks quite complicated the P7 children were able to understand the process quickly.

They started by importing all the video, audio and pictures from a folder placed on the school system containing all these “assets”.

Once the children had their pictures and video in the order they wanted they looked at how the video and pictures changed from one to another i.e. the transitions.

Finally they added the start or end credits either before, after, between or over the top of the film.

The final films were exported as wma/wmv files and saved ready for the drama performance in March. Each school is preparing for the drama to which parents will be invited.
