Margaret McLeod’s milk round in Lossiemouth

Margaret wanted to work outside so her choice of first job was a milk round. She visited three towns a day with a horse and cart delivering bottles of milk for three years. The milk came from Kineddar Farm, Lossiemouth.

During the war she was called up and received land army medals, which were sent through the post. Her horse was called Tommy. She doesn’t remember having any days off or holiday.
